Ukraine: bird’s eye view of ancient Kamianets-Podilskyi

The Kamianets-Podilskyi Castle is a fortress city that dates back to the 11th century. The old fortress city can still boast of its medieval look. The renaissance and baroque City hall used to be the building of the Polish Magistrate in 14th – 19th centuries.

The Novoplanivskiy Bridge connects the old city with its modern part overlooking the immensely beautiful canyon and waterfall.

Once-submerged Bakota settlement of the Ruthenian Kingdom impresses with its beautiful and mysterious sceneries with unique ancient Orthodox cave monastery.

The Kamianets-Podilskyi Castle is usually used as a scene for numerous festivals or historical reenactment.
